Welcome to Simply Orgasmic Bites. First and foremost, thank you very much for visiting this page.

I am an IT professional, and a home chef that fell in love with pesto many years ago. Since then, I then started making my own because I was not satisfied with the taste and flavour that I found outside. I experimented and tweaked my recipe each time I made pesto until finally, in December of 2022, with much encouragement from friends and family, I decided to take the next step and make my pesto sauce available to the public. So, I present to you "Hey Pesto", the result of my many years of research.

About Pesto

What Is Pesto?
Pesto is a traditional Italian sauce made from sweet basil, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, Italian cheese and pine nuts. I first discovered pesto almost a decade ago. Since then I've been learning to make my own pesto, sourcing for the best ingredients as I go along. Traditionally, pine nuts are used in the recipe, but I've tried and tested and found that cashew nuts also give a good amount of creaminess and texture to the sauce.

This pesto is uniquely Malaysian and I use Malaysian ingredients to enhance its flavour.

Why Pesto?
I find pesto to be a very versatile sauce. I've used it in my pasta dishes (spaghetti, farfalle, fusilli, etc.). I have eaten it with rice, rice crackers or on my toast. The smell of fresh pesto is amazing and can be enjoyed by children as well as adults. This product is pork-free and but it's not certified Halal.

Is Pesto Vegetarian?
No. This is due to the cheese that I use with my sauce. I use authentic Italian Parmigiano Reggiano and this cheese is made with rennet. My pesto also includes generous amounts of garlic. Due to this, the sauce cannot be classified as vegetarian.

Does Your Product Contain Any Preservatives?
I use only the freshest and the best quality ingredients for the sauce. I do not add any preservatives.

How Much For The Sauce?
The sauce sells for RM24.00 for a 200g bottle. For bulk purchases, please contact me at 019 260 0663.

Do You Have Stock Now?
It depends. I make my sauce fresh and sell by batches. When raw ingredients is available, I will process it and then announce the availability on Facebook. Also, each batch has limited quantities. I will announce the number of bottles available for each batch. Once all bottles have been reserved, any subsequent requests will be brought forward to the next batch.

Enjoying Pesto

Pesto with Nachos

A very quick way to enjoy pesto is with crackers or in this case, nachos. Just dip and snack!

Pesto on Toast

A perfect combination for breakfast! You can top it off with ham, smoked salmon, sun-dried tomatoes or olives. 

Pesto is not just for pasta. As you can see, it goes well with nachos and toast as well as crackers and rice. It also goes well as a garnish on chicken, or fish.

How much pesto should you put for each of these? Here's a rule of thumb that I use:

100g of pasta - 45g of pesto (about 1 tablespoon)
1 bowl of rice - 45g of pesto (about 1 tablespoon)
1 slice of toast - 20g of pesto (about 2 teaspoons)
Crackers/Nachos - It's a dip, TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE :-)
